Análise de dados

Depois que os dados de EEG e fNIRS foram gravados e marcados com os mesmos triggers, é possível analisá-los separadamente com o seu software de análise de dados favorito. Por um lado, os dados de EEG armazenados no arquivo .xdf podem ser abertos no MATLAB® / EEGLAB ou Python e, eventualmente, ser mais convertidos no formato BrainVision Analyzer. Por outro lado, os dados do fNIRS podem ser carregados diretamente no nirsLAB, Homer2 ou NIRS Toolbox, se salvos no formato .nirs. Como alternativa, semelhante aos dados de EEG, o arquivo pode ser extraído do arquivo .xdf, convertido e exportado para um dos softwares de análise mencionados anteriormente.

Data analysis

Once both EEG and fNIRS data have been recorded and marked with the same triggers, it is possible to analyse them separately with your favourite data analysis software. On the one hand, EEG data stored in the .xdf file can be opened within MATLAB®/EEGLAB or Python and eventually be further converted into BrainVision Analyzer format. On the other hand, fNIRS data can be directly loaded into nirsLAB, Homer2 or NIRS Toolbox, if saved into a .nirs format. Alternatively, similar to EEG data, the file can be extracted from the .xdf file, converted, and exported to one of the aforementioned analysis software.
